NYLX's platform is built on a robust architecture that supports high performance and innovation. At NYLX, it's a high priority that our systems are always available and scalable as well. Architecture Overview NYLX’s software and systems are developed using Microsoft and industry standard technology such as XML, DHTML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft’s .Net programming technology and Microsoft SQL Server. Security NYLX products adhere to strong security standards. NYLX requires each member to provide a unique User ID and password when logging on to any of the systems and utilizes a 128-bit SSL connection. These standards ensure that users provide authentication for use and serve to protect both member identity and access to records.Accounts can choose to have different password options to help strengthen the security of their own accounts by implementing such adjustments as strong password rules, password expirations, and strong password types.
Roles and Rights The NYLX system is secured based on different roles and rights. This allows for the distribution of settings and information to be based on the security level and ultimately allows for the different components of an account to be managed only by certain accounts.
Servers Because NYLX is a SaaS (Software as a Service) and ASP (Application Service Provider), system scalability and high availability is critical. Our server infrastructure has load balanced and clustered servers, balanced out with our application for the best performance. Our data center works very closely with our technical staff to ensure the proper reporting and management thresholds are in place.
Scalability NYLX maintains high performance and availability from the architecture that has been set up and continued usage of the scalability plan. NYLX servers have been architected to scale users and processes in different ways. Depending on the usage type heavy processes can be scaled or "balanced" out across multiple servers, or dedicated to specific server resources.
Network Infrastructure NYLX servers are maintained at a tier 1 provider with a strong infrastructure for hosting and managing high availability enterprise solutions like NYLX.
